Lonnie has been writing and performing for over twenty-five years. He wrote and performed with several northwest bands, which included: Ariel; Crossfire; Daniel Goodmark; and Good Company.
In 1999 Lonnie was invited to play on the USS Abraham Lincoln (one of our nations nuclear aircraft carriers), for an Easter sunrise service. Carolee Mayne, joined in with Lonnie and the worship team as they led several thousand participants in worship and praise on that Easter morning. (you will hear Carolee Mayne's soaring background vocals in "Let The Rain Come Down," one of the cuts on "Out Of This World.")
Lonnie took first place in the 2000 Worthy Music Contest with his original tune, "Victory In Jesus," which is included on the album "Out Of This World."
"It does not matter if we have a beautiful voice, pretty face, or any other fading attribute, what matters is what is in our heart. We need to use what talents and abilities that we have been given, thereby bringing glory to our creator. We can fuss and fight with each other about religious stuff till the cows come home, but if we do not love one another we have missed the mark."
